Service Designers at North own end-to-end service and experience design — from discovery research to journeys, service blueprints and opportunity framing. They’re deeply user-centered, equally comfortable running interviews and workshops as translating insights into clear service decisions with clients and product teams.
What you’ll do
Lead discovery research (interviews, workshops, synthesis) to understand user needs, behaviours and organisational barriers.
Map journeys and service blueprints that make complex banking / enterprise services actionable for the team and the client.
Guide PMs, designers and client stakeholders through the implementation phase, keeping decisions grounded in research and service logic.
Turn research insights into opportunity areas, principles and recommendations ready for a definition phase.
Keep a high bar on clarity and rigor at every step — from research plan to final readout.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience as a Service Designer (or adjacent.
- Strong qualitative research experience — planning, fieldwork, synthesis and storytelling end-to-end.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to understand the banking business.
- Experience in banking is a strong plus.
- Clear, confident communication in Spanish and English (spoken and written.
- Based in / able to work hybrid from Madrid (1–2 office days a week); strong remote profiles considered.
