Job Description
We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to create intuitive and scalable solutions for mailing physical goods.
In this role, you will
- Create ownership of projects from product research to final mocks and development.
- Assist the Product team in user research, propose user flows, and create final mocks.
- Work cross-functionally to build UX strategies and designs.
- Create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes integrating feedback.
- Provide recommendations for the long-term vision of products.
- Design new components for EasyPostโs Easy.UI Design System.
- Perform user research and execute research plans.
- Collaborate with UX designers for consistency across offerings.
- Educate product teams in user-centered design principles.
- Prepare final mocks for engineering handoff and collaborate with developers.
You will need
- Bachelorโs Degree with 8+ years of related experience, or a masterโs degree and 6+ years of related experience.
- 5-7 years of experience designing and delivering digital products.
- Online portfolio highlighting strong understanding and experience with an AGILE design process/working environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present your work to internal stakeholders at different design stages.
- Collaboration mindset with a focus on receiving and giving feedback on ideas and designs cross-functionally.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to be self-directed.
- Understanding of business strategy and how user experience fits into the larger picture.
- Ability to break long-term design visions down into iterative improvements.
- Skills in interaction and visual design creating modern products.
- Experience with user research and analyzing user feedback.
- Strong/reliable internet connection and experience working with industry standard design tools including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Lucid Chart, etc.
