We’re building the future of zero carbon living and we’ve got a lot to do. You’ll be planning, analysing, and communicating research, and helping to identify where it's needed. We see user research as a team sport so you’ll involve as many people as possible in generative and evaluative activities, collaborative analysis, and sharing evidence and insights. And as part of our user research practice you’ll help build up our research operations.
Your key outcomes will be:
- Strong qualitative and quantitative skills
- Experienced working on a range of complex project types including strategic discoveries
- Proficiency in a range of techniques and research methods that you know how and when to apply and can train others to use
- A strategic approach to research planning and coordination
- A rigorous and versatile approach to research analysis
- Presentation skills and confidence in playing back findings to audiences of different levels and disciplines
- The confidence and experience required to work autonomously on complex projects whilst also committing to achieving shared team goals
- Significant experience working with agile teams, as well as experience with evidence-based and human-centred design frameworks
- Enthusiasm to challenge yourself, learn more and teach others
- Adaptability to respond to changing circumstances and adjust research approaches where necessary
- An in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge of ethical best practice for user research
- The ability to mentor and coach more junior researchers to help them navigate their own challenges
