In this role, you will
- Create engaging user experiences through UX/UI design.
- Conduct product research to inform design decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on design goals.
- Present design concepts to stakeholders.
- Iterate designs based on user feedback.
- Ensure pixel-perfect execution of designs.
- Maintain a proactive approach and seek feedback from leadership.
You will need
- 3-4 years of hands-on design experience as a UX/UI Designer.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Miro, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
- Familiarity with Maze is a plus.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design projects, particularly in digital media and web applications.
- Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Ability to effectively communicate design concepts to non-design stakeholders.
- Experience in cross-functional teams and collaborative environments.
- Proficiency in Jira for managing project tasks is a plus.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Experience in a news company environment is a plus.
