Digital Product Designer

We are looking for a Digital Product Designer to join our team at Newsweek.

In this role, you will

  • Create engaging user experiences through UX/UI design.
  • Conduct product research to inform design decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on design goals.
  • Present design concepts to stakeholders.
  • Iterate designs based on user feedback.
  • Ensure pixel-perfect execution of designs.
  • Maintain a proactive approach and seek feedback from leadership.

You will need

  • 3-4 years of hands-on design experience as a UX/UI Designer.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Miro, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Familiarity with Maze is a plus.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design projects, particularly in digital media and web applications.
  • Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
  • Ability to effectively communicate design concepts to non-design stakeholders.
  • Experience in cross-functional teams and collaborative environments.
  • Proficiency in Jira for managing project tasks is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Experience in a news company environment is a plus.
