As a Junior User Researcher, your role is to support product innovation, build a deep understanding of users' problems and turn user research into insights to inform the product development. Together with your teammates your work will impact the way the world experiences audio and shape the future of Spotify.
What Youโll Do
- Work closely with a cross-functional, geographically distributed team of data scientists, user researchers, product managers, designers and engineers.
- Define, plan, and conduct user research projects.
- Deliver compelling insights to help drive evidence-based product and design decisions.
- Contribute to the wider user research community at Spotify.
Who You Are
- You have a degree in HCI, Psychology, Human Computer Interaction, Social Science or a related field and at least 1+ years of related professional experience.
- Comfortable with conducting, analyzing and communicating research in a zero to one space.
- You have experience with qualitative research methods such as diary studies, usability tests, in depth interviews, contextual inquiry, surveys and more. Quantitative research methods are an added benefit.
- Have strong interpersonal skills and can easily connect with your partners in product, tech and design.
- A dedicated advocate of a user-centred approach to product development, while also balancing business needs.
- You have worked in a research role at a consumer-focused or a business-to-business company.
Where Youโll Be
- This role is based in Stockholm. We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home. We ask that you come in 3 times per week.
