Responsibilities

• Work closely with product and engineering teams to build the Paddle platform, creating tools to help software businesses grow.
• Partner with product managers to define and evolve product roadmaps.
• Work closely with engineers to build, iterate on, and ship ideas.
• Conduct user interviews and user testing.
• Design and prototype intuitive user interfaces.
• Build features that simplify complex tasks and workflows for all customer levels.
• Collaborate with designers across the organisation using data and user insights to improve design processes and tooling.
• Own the customer-facing experience across a complex platform and a checkout product used by millions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in end-to-end product design for software platforms, preferably in SaaS/B2B.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating the end-to-end design process.
• Experience working with design systems.
• Experience collaborating with product designers, PMs, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to clearly communicate design work and rationale with supporting data.
• Self-starter able to work through ambiguity and complete tasks autonomously.
• Experience prototyping before implementation using tools like Framer, HTML & CSS.
• Strong UI design skills using Figma or similar tools.
