Role Description

We are looking for a product designer to help enable complex, user driven functionality for our sports betting apps through work on our admin tools. The ideal candidate has an interest or experience with sports betting, is eager to learn, quick to adapt to an evolving product landscape, and is comfortable working cross-functionally. The impact you will have is far reaching; these tools help us power and curate innovative experiences such as Quick Bets.

Typical Work Day

  • Work with cross-functional partners from trading, marketing, product, engineering, and more to solve complex user problems from ideation to execution.
  • Leverage our double-diamond design playbook to create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, hi-fi designs & prototypes, and other actionable assets for partners.
  • Follow and help evolve our design system and language across platforms.
  • A critical part of product design involves pitching your work and justifying your design decisions, so you’ll be expected to communicate and articulate your thoughts regularly.
  • Participate in conducting user research, usability testing, and partner with our UX Research practice to collect quantitative feedback.
  • Give and get actionable feedback during design crits and product reviews.
  • Consider how to improve team and organizational processes.

What We’re Looking For From You

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent knowledge and/or experience.
  • A strong portfolio showing your process of working through full end-to-end experiences, design thinking, and using research to drive decisions.
  • Experience designing products for the web.
  • A great understanding of iOS and Android patterns and conventions.
  • You have excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills, and you’re always considering the business side of design to further the strategy of the company.
  • You’re comfortable working autonomously and proactively, while also knowing when to bring others in to move things forward quickly.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, including an understanding of Figma libraries.
  • Nice to have: experience or understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and mobile libraries).
