How you’ll contribute

• You'll be joining the Worker Identity Squad and will take on end to end ownership of designing experiences that help workers establish their identity on PowerUs (e.g. Sign Up, Profile, etc.)
• Get to know our users (skilled blue-collar workers), and build an understanding of their needs and aspirations through interviews and other research methods.
• Use your exceptional product design skills to design and deliver thoughtfully crafted experiences that help our users achieve their goals.
• Collaborate with other designers and stakeholders to make sure that the experiences you are designing contribute to creating a simple, and holistic solution for users
• Use your storytelling and prototyping skills to drive alignment with the squads and stakeholders
• Be the go to person for product management and engineering in your squad to clarify and unblock any design related questions and concerns
• Elevate our practices and processes in the Design Chapter to improve user-centricity, and design quality across the organisation

Who you are 

• You have a well crafted portfolio with relevant projects that showcases your skills and experience
• You have 5 years of proven experience, ideally designing consumer facing software in a cross-functional setup
• You practise evidence-based design, and can rationalise your decisions clearly and credibly.
• You’ve worked with design systems to produce beautiful and functional design that scales.
• You can prototype at various fidelities and can communicate in an inspiring and effective manner
• You can work efficiently with common tools such as Figma, Adobe CC, Notion, etc.
• You enjoy mentoring others to give and ask for direct and critical feedback
• You speak fluent English and German at a B1 level or above
