Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and professional leadership to the Product Design team, fostering collaboration, sharing best practices, and promoting continuous professional growth.
  • Lead development and implementation of repeatable design processes to streamline collaboration with Engineering and Product Management teams.
  • Advocate for an outcome-driven approach to design, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive measurable results.
  • Translate business objectives into actionable design solutions that enhance user engagement, retention, and conversion.
  • Oversee creation of wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that align with business goals and user needs.
  • Guide the team in maintaining design guidelines, style guides, and design systems for consistency.
  • Champion user research, usability testing, and data analysis to gather insights and validate design decisions.
  • Drive iterative design processes based on user feedback and data-driven insights to improve user experience and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in Product Design within a high-growth SaaS environment.
  • Previous experience in cybersecurity vendors is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Success in building, leading, and developing high-performing design teams.
  • Deep knowledge of user experience best practices and a portfolio of shipped digital products with quantifiable impact.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles emphasizing simplicity, functionality, and usability.
  • Excellent communication, moderation, and collaboration skills for conveying design concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and adapting to fast-paced, iterative processes.
  • Portfolio showcasing design leadership, collaboration with product teams, and contributions to business objectives.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus for collaboration with Front-End developers.
