We're looking for an awesome Senior Product Designer to fill in the very big shoes that'll be left soon by our dear Max, who's leaving us.. For another department π±
Your mission, if you accept it, will be to be the sparring design partner of our "Adore" team (yes, we have weird team names), led by Niklas, that's in charge of most features of the platform. You'll be joining a small team of 3 designers π¨
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the design work of your product team while collaborating closely with other teams and designers to ensure consistency and quality across the platform.
- Work alone and reach out for support when needed: Autonomously solve problems in the product and design space, making sure your team can deliver to itβs KPIs using your research, design and insight as a stable starting point.
- Master the feedback loop: You will be instrumental in gathering feedback and making sure itβs useful to your product team and n8n.
- Create insight from smart research: Learning deeply from our users through qualitative methods of user research such as usability testing and user interviews.
- Safeguard the big picture of the product. Design in systems and integrate your solutions into the grander scope of the n8n platform.
- Shining light on edge cases and worst case scenarios so that users donβt end up in impossible situations.
- Bringing clarity to our priorities by working closely with our Product Managers to create the data needed to take the best decisions for our users.
- Collaborate with Product & Engineering, making sure that Design is part of the whole process rather than an afterthought
- We are a start-up which means that there are a lot of processes that need to be improved and we want everyone in the team to contribute!
Requirements
Must-have
- You've got at least 3 years of Product Design experience under your belt
- You have worked on complex problems with fuzzy user journeys where the right solution is not always obvious
- You enjoy a fast-paced environment where there are still a lot of big questions to answer
- You have experience working end to end, from problem statement to solution implementation
- You know how to use data to showcase the success (or failure) of a solution
- Basic HTML, CSS, and Javascript (preferred) skills
Nice-to-have
- Experience working on B2B or SaaS products
- Previous experience working on Developer tools
- Passion for automation and the no-code/low-code space
- Strong technical understanding (maybe you have even previously been an engineer)
- Advanced prototyping skills, like in Origami or Protopie
- Deep experience with user testing, incl. different methods
