About the Role
Join Monzo as a Senior Lead Product Designer in London or remote UK to shape customer support experiences. Work within a team to design AI-driven, seamless support journeys, lead design initiatives, and mentor designers while impacting the banking industry.
Responsibilities
- Embedding the long-term design vision for support experiences at Monzo.
- Leading large, end-to-end design initiatives across ambiguous problem spaces.
- Designing with a service mindset, understanding the real-world impact of design decisions.
- Designing across touchpoints; from the app to human support.
- Navigating tradeoffs and guiding strategic decisions.
- Coaching the other Ops Collective designers.
- Continuing to raise the bar for design craft and product excellence at Monzo.
- Partnering with cross-functional leaders to define and execute product strategies.
- Proactively addressing systemic challenges and reducing complexity.
- Acting as a visible ambassador for Design across the company.
- Mentoring and levelling up designers across the discipline.
Requirements
- Expert in a specific design discipline with strong foundational skills.
- Comfortable designing for AI and automation-enabled environments.
- Experience working on complex service ecosystems.
- Track record of delivering high-impact design work.
- Excellent visual, UI, and interaction skills.
- Thrives in ambiguity and maintaining a high bar for quality.
- Strategic thinker who can shape product direction.
- Natural collaborator skilled at working cross-functionally.
