Role: Product Designer (UI/UX)
Seniority: Mid-Senior
Location: 100% Remote based in Europe time zones.
Compensation: Rate dependent on local market location and experience
Responsibilities
- Responsible for creating innovative solutions through design to front end issues to ensure our applications are more visually appealing and enhance usability
- Product UI/UX design β software applications mainly with some website
- Develop effective interfaces on the company web applications
- Work closely with other software developers to design or update the front-end of our various applications and make the more efficient and maintain consistency across them
- Implement responsible web design principles to ensure that the structure and design of web applications render well across multiple devices keeping ahead of emerging technologies
- Apply a variety of programming languages writing high quality code to create, enhance and maintain user-friendly web applications and mobile app pages optimizing speed and scalability
- Design a framework for creating user apps that frows with the needs of the company including reusable code
- Maintain brand consistency guidelines throughout the design
- Build high-quality mock-ups and design different prototypes with high quality graphics and visual elements
- Work and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams
- Communicate effectively and directly with customers for ideation, A/B testing and feedback
- Understand feedback from users and customers to enable suggestions and features for better solutions to problems
- Test and quality assure front-end development modifications
- Work with front-end frameworks (Angular, React, JSF)
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience with UI/UX design of software applications (SaaS, B2B)
- Provides a professional portfolio of UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms
- Working knowledge of, Sketch, InVision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems and Adobe Creative suite)
- Proven experience working as a UI/UX Designer or similar > 3 years
- Knowledge of Adobe range of products including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat and Dreamweaver
- 2 years' experience with HTML & CSS3
- Some knowledge of usability factors in human computer interaction
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience with FE implementation and QA processes
- Figma
- Experienced with collaborating with internal developers.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience with platform services and/or developer tools
- Knowledge of Java/Jakarta EE
