Job Description
Weโre looking for a Senior Product Designer with a passion for system thinking and enhancing platform experiences. Specifically, youโll design tools to help our customers discover, set up, and configure our third-party integrations with Datadogโs products. These integrations are integral for connecting our customersโ data, providing insights and value across a growing suite of products in the Datadog platform.
The ideal candidate will help to shape and pursue strategic opportunities to improve integration experiences across Datadog. Youโll engage with customers to understand their needs and pain points, and collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other designers to streamline integration experiences. Additionally, you will provide guidance to other design teams to enhance integration touchpoints throughout the Datadog platform.

What Youโll Do:
- Work with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to understand how our customers use Datadog and what they need to succeed
- See your design work through from start to finish: turn insights from user research into ideas, sketch and prototype to bring them to life, and ship products and features that make Datadog better
- Work closely with engineering teams to understand how your designs will be built and Q/A them before we ship.
- Communicate both your design work and the support for your design decisions across the company
- Be the expert in your product area, mentoring designers on the team to do their best work
Who You Are:
- You have 5+ years of experience in digital product design
- Your portfolio includes a proven track record of shipping intuitive web experiences.
- You are an excellent visual and written communicator who is able to clearly communicate your design work and justify your design decisions
- You have experience with advanced modern-day UX/UI tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch).
- You understand systems thinking and component-based design patterns
- You give and receive feedback well, supporting and improving the work of your colleagues as well as your own
Datadog values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. Thatโs okay. If youโre passionate about technology and want to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply.
Benefits and Growth:
- New hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan (ESPP)
- Continuous professional development, product training, and career pathing
