Your role at Userlane
- As an ambassador for user-centered design, you understand customer needs and align them with our overall product vision and business goals.
- With a strategic product mindset, you research, prioritize, and define problems to solve in collaboration with product managers and key business stakeholders.
- You own the solution space in the product. Whether prototyping in Figma or coordinating workshops, you select the right tools and methodologies to turn your ideas into reality.
- You validate ideas throughout the process and turn them into sleek, efficient designs. With your cross-functional squad, you are responsible for bringing them to life and into the hands of our customers.
- You leverage the strengths of other designers, as well as our design system, and are a force multiplier for driving design excellence at Userlane.
- With a passion for design ops, youโre happy to improve processes, facilitate collaboration, and set standards within the design team.
Your profile
- You have at least 5-7 years of experience designing digital products, and are familiar with working in an Agile setup. B2B experience is a big bonus, but not a hard requirement.
- You have very strong communication skills and feel comfortable sharing the rationale behind design proposals, promoting the value of good design, as well as discussing and embracing tech and business perspectives.
- You thrive in cross-functional collaboration, show initiative, and are not afraid to take ownership of topics you care about. You balance the drive for design excellence with continuous delivery.
- You value giving and receiving feedback, continuous growth and open-mindedness.
- Youโre a fluent English speaker, any knowledge of German is a plus.
