Job Description


We are looking for a Senior Product Designer - Messenger to join our team at Intercom. This role involves owning the designs for Intercom Messenger, enhancing its capabilities in an AI-centric customer service environment. 


In this role, you will

  • Act as a leader within the Product Design team, collaborating with other designers to improve team quality.
  • Work through design problems from start to finish, translating research insights into new product concepts.
  • Sketch and prototype ideas to assess their viability and design high-quality interactions and visuals.
  • Partner with product managers to evolve product roadmaps.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers to build and ship high-quality implementations.



You will need

  • Passion for the entire product development process from problem-solving to UX and visual design.
  • Experience creating excellent software products in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to solve complex interaction design challenges with excellent visual design skills.
  • Strong communication skills to convey the rationale behind your designs.
  • Motivated self-starter with collaboration skills across disciplines.
  • A growth mindset, proactivity, and curiosity.
