Your Mission We believe that the Metaverse experiences of today are far from what players and participants deserve. We believe we can create a better looking virtual world, filled with people, novel experiences and meaningful interactions by leveraging our AAA game development experiences. The way we communicate with our audiences at Improbable is key. We want to take them on a memorable, meaningful journey; partnering with our player communities on creating the next generation of experiences in the Metaverse. How we communicate to our influencers, core players and partners is at the heart of our journey to changing the way the world experiences the Metaverse. We have already started this journey by holding a ScavLab event with over 4,000 players crowding into a single map to battle, and a Meet and Greet with K-Pop star AleXa attended by over a thousand fans who all got on stage at the same time. As the Head of our global publishing communication efforts for our virtual world, you will create strategies to establish and nurture our relationships with participants, backers and content creators across press, direct communication and social media, both pre-launch and in live service. You will grow owned and earned channels, taking our brand strategies, translating them into written word & content that breathes life into our growing community. You will create programs and moments to foster a connection between developers and players, creating more understanding both ways.
Areas for Impact You will work closely with the Head of Publishing to establish strategy, vision, and goals internally that will focus on both short and long term successes for our games and most importantly, our community. You will manage our team of Influencer Managers, Community Managers and PR Managers. You will manage third party suppliers and teams where necessary to adapt our tone to local audiences, all while ensuring our true values and voice are maintained. You will be a critical stakeholder on development efforts aimed at activating, growing and improving our community. You will be setting the roots for our long-term community to grow, develop and mature. - You’re experienced building relationships with passionate gaming communities for multiplayer games and are highly empathetic to gamers.
- You have a deep understanding of how to address player problems through crafting authentic messaging and managing expectations.
- You’ve managed and developed successful Social Media strategies for communities across broad channels.
- You are experienced in establishing content pipelines across platforms and channels.
- You’re an experienced and empowering manager.
- You are a true leader both within your team and across the business, you want to build and set best practices for the long-term development of our publishing function, including mentoring and managing more junior team members when required.
