πŸ”­ What you will work on

Your mission

Drive awareness and understanding of Root’s value proposition among our target audience and position our product as the emission operating system within the food and beverage industry.

Over the next 12 months, you will:

  • Conduct market research and analysis
    • Conduct market research to understand the target audience, industry trends, and competitive landscape
  • Collaborate with Sales and Product
    • Get a clear understanding of our customers, personas, their pain points, and corresponding product features to translate them into compelling marketing messages
  • Drive content creation
    • Produce high-quality content such as sales presentations, material for objection handling or customer education, customer case studies, …
  • Manage brand development
    • Manage and optimize the company’s website, ensuring it effectively communicates the value proposition and drives lead generation

You might be a good fit if:

 πŸ’¬ You likely have 2-4 years of consulting or product marketing experience at another startup. 

You also demonstrate the following:

  1. Entrepreneurial spirit:
    • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a startup environment with limited resources
    • Willingness to take initiative and a hands-on approach to problem-solving
  2. Clarity of thought:
    • Ability to reason logically, form sound arguments, and identify flaws in reasoning.
    • Ability to use precise and accurate language to express ideas, avoiding vague or ambiguous terms
  3. Willingness to learn:
    • Displays a strong curiosity to understand and build a marketing department from scratch
    • Actively seeks opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge through training, research, and hands-on experience
  4. Communication skills:
    • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
    • Ability to articulate ideas, decisions, or value propositions in a charismatic way
  5. An interest in B2B SaaS marketing
