About the Role
We are looking for a performance-driven Social Graphic Designer to bridge the gap between brand aesthetics and high-impact marketing. In this role, you will create "scroll-stopping" visual assets designed to drive engagement, increase Click-Through Rates (CTR), and scale our growth across YouTube, Paid Social, and organic channels. You will be responsible for translating our brand identity into aggressive, high-conversion marketing styles while maintaining a high velocity of creative output.Key responsibilities
- Performance Asset Creation: Design high-volume, high-conversion visual assets for paid and organic social channels.
- YouTube Optimization: Produce compelling, A/B test-ready thumbnails that maximize CTR and video performance.
- Brand Translation: Adapt core brand guidelines into "aggressive" marketing styles without losing the company’s visual identity.
- Iterative Design: Rapidly pivot and update creative based on real-time performance data and testing results.
- Marketing/Design Liaison: Act as the primary bridge to ensure Marketing’s velocity needs are met within the Design team’s framework.
Skills and qualifications
- YouTube Optimization: Experienced with creating “Scroll Stopping” thumbnails that increase video impression click-through rates.
- Social Media Consumption: Must be a consumer of social media and in tune with current trends and style and understand what grabs attention in a viewer’s feed.
- Visual Directness: Ability to prioritize "the hook" and marketing performance over abstract art, using high-contrast typography and strategic visual hierarchy.
- Data-Informed Iteration: Willingness to pivot designs based on performance metrics and a proactive interest in campaign CTR results.
- Asset Management: Disciplined in maintaining a clean, accessible library of marketing templates and raw assets.
- Experience: 2+ years in Digital Graphic Design for a high-growth D2C or B2B SaaS marketing team with a proven portfolio of high-performing ad creative.
- Software Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Figma.
Bonus qualifications
- Basic motion graphics skills (After Effects/Premiere).
- Specific experience in YouTube thumbnail strategy and direct-response marketing principles.
- Experienced using productivity software like Notion.
