This is an exciting opportunity to help grow and elevate Whimsicalโs marketing. The right candidate is a versatile designer who is comfortable getting in the weeds and working directly in the tools to build effective marketing experiences (mainly digital and web.)
You will report to our Head of Product Design, Mindy Wagner. You will also work closely with the VP of Marketing, Melissa Ho.
Your responsibilities include:
Design beautiful web pages, emails, social graphics, and other digital marketing assets to enhance our brand, connect with potential customers, and encourage acquisition across multiple touchpoints.
Create fresh and inspiring visual design assets including graphics, illustrations, icons, animations, etc.
Improve the UX and effectiveness of our website, campaigns, and activations.
Translate data-driven insights into improved brand experiences.
We are not currently looking for:
a marketing generalist
an illustrator or brand designer without web design experience
a FED, UX, or Product Design specialist with interest in visual design
About you
You have 5+ years of marketing web design experience and a portfolio showcasing visually rich web and digital marketing deliverables. Experience in a SaaS environment is a plus.
You are a creative visual storyteller with excellent typography, color, layout, and composition skills.
You know web best practices and can design a beautiful, thoughtful, and engaging website UI.
You are comfortable with HTML/CSS and can build and edit websites using Webflow. Bonus points if you can also produce website interactions and animations.
You have a working knowledge of other tools needed to extend your work and realize your vision (through prototyping, animations, etc.)
You live at the intersection of design, marketing, and user experience and understand how to take users on a complete journey from discovery to adoption and success.
You have knowledge and familiarity with a data-informed approach to design โ youโve used tools to measure the success of design decisions (A/B testing tools, Google Analytics, etc.)
You are excited to work at every stage of a project, from initial concept through final production, and need minimal input and oversight.
You feel that our philosophy resonates with you and you can see it guiding your decisions while at Whimsical.
You are able to communicate in English clearly both verbally and in writing.
You're a self-starter who can work independently and juggle multiple projects.

Salary : Annual salary $118,164-$147,705 based on experience
