What you'll do
As Product Marketing Manager, you will have the opportunity to help define and build an exciting new category in business software. Your mission will be to grow our business by bringing new features to market through crisp, compelling launch strategies, crafting clear positioning and messaging that connects with our target audience, and produce content that hits the mark.
This role is a PMM but with a content flavour, so you must like to write and develop impactful content.
Reporting to the Head of Product Marketing, this role works within the marketing team, and will help build the product marketing and content function at Qwilr. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a fast-growing start-up that's revolutionizing a huge global market.
Youโll be joining a highly collaborative and senior marketing team that is incredible to learn from. Youโll also be welcomed by cross-functional partners in product management, sales, customer success, product education, design, and engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with a range of cross-functional teamsโproduct managers, sales, design, marketing, and engineeringโto develop go-to-market strategies and drive launches for our features.
- Craft product-related content including video scripts, product blogs, email campaigns, feature landing pages and more.
- Create content that speaks deeply to customer pain points and be able to produce this in many formats that drive impact. Think compelling sales enablement content, spicy takes on Linkedin, buyer guides that arenโt dull, and product demos that arenโt the run of the mill (yawn). Weโre looking for someone who is willing to experiment and do things differently! Weโre in a noisy market and think having a sharp point-of-view is the way to win.
- Develop compelling product positioning and messaging informed by user research, market insights, and product expertise in collaboration with the Head of PMM.
- Work with design and marketing to create world class sales collateral using our own product, including internal enablement to equip our sales team to sell better. This supports our global sales team with user and market insights to help them position against competitors and sell Qwilrโs value to prospects.
- Contribute to the Qwilr website with regular product content as required, in collaboration with marketing and brand design.
- Talk regularly to users and prospects, produce compelling case studies and testimonials to highlight Qwilrโs benefits.
Who you are
- You have 1-2 years experience in product marketing for B2B software companies
- Or, you are a content marketer, content strategist, or a marketer with a strong content background that wants to pivot into PMM. You want to improve and hone in on your product marketing craft in a highly supportive environment.
- You're experienced in creating launch plans, driving campaigns, developing messaging and go-to market initiatives. Ideally you know how to run and drive a campaign from start to finish.
- You are amazing at execution, a transparent communicator and highly reliable. You deliver what you say, and can do so in a timely manner.
- You're a data-driven thinker, skilled in working with both qualitative and quantitative data to inform positioning and go-to-market strategy.
- Youโre hungry to experiment, be creative, and do things differently, and want the space to do so.
- You've collaborated closely with sales teams and have empathy and experience for their role (after all this is our buyer!)
- You're able to juggle a diverse range of projects and prioritize effectively
- Youโre highly collaborative and able to critically analyze your own work.
