Responsibilities
- Create lines of business/state strategies with operational goals and measures including customer experience, retention, sales, underwriting quality, and claims trends
- Manage P&L responsibility for new lines of business and/or states
- File and gain approval for regulatory changes
- Align operational goals across functions for financial planning
- Define product market fit by understanding target customer needs and translating insights into product enhancements
- Analyze feedback and data on product reception, application processes, and satisfaction
- Collaborate with technical teams to enhance user and agent experience
- Communicate and plan state strategies with functional managers and leadership
- Identify process improvements and automation opportunities for product development
Requirements
- 8-10 years of insurance experience
- 5+ years specific insurance product line experience (home and auto preferred)
- Underwriting and loss mitigation expertise focusing on severe storm and hurricane-prone areas
- In-depth knowledge of insurance products, pricing, risk, and regulatory requirements
- Proven managerial skills with success in developing and overseeing state P&Ls
- Strong ability to grasp new concepts and technologies, proficient in Excel, SQL, and Looker
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills with all organizational levels
- Commitment to ethical standards with data, customers, and employees
- Outstanding project and time management abilities in fast-paced environments

- Masterβs degree, CPCU, or Actuarial Designations

- Product management experience for Texas and/or Florida
