What you'll be doing

  • Lead the strategic planning, development, and execution of the Open API project, aligning with company objectives and client needs
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define API specifications, develop roadmaps, and ensure technical feasibility
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of public-facing documentation that is clear, concise, and client-friendly, enabling easy adoption of the API
  • Implement modern software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Agile) to manage the API lifecycle efficiently
  • Ensure the API design adheres to best practices for security and data protection, including the use of authorization mechanisms, JWT tokens, and secure data transmission
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into understandable terms and fostering effective communication
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the Open API post-launch, incorporating feedback to continually enhance functionality and user experience


What you'll need

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in product operations, product management, or a related field, with a strong focus on API development.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in creating and managing public (client-facing) documentation for technical products.
  • Solid understanding of modern software development approaches, including Scrum and Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of IT concepts such as REST API, Authorization, JWT Tokens, JSON, and other relevant technologies.
  • Excellent project management skills, with an ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to completion.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


How you'll work

  • Upper-intermediate English is a must
  • Communication skills, as weโ€™re working with many people from all over the world, itโ€™s important for us to communicate, quickly adapt and relay information in different ways
  • Time Management: you will need to be good at structuring your work day and tasks to make sure you accomplish all those things whilst maintaining the time-zone differences and a work-life balance
  • Collaborative: we love to work together with all sorts of different people in all sorts of different places. Everyoneโ€™s opinion matters to get the job done
  • Independent and autonomous: as we work, weโ€™re naturally independent. As much as weโ€™re connected you will also need to use your own initiative to solve problems and get answers; this also means reaching out to us to get help or confirm a solution
  • Analysis: you will use analytical skills when working with payrolls, finance reports, creating budgets, and forecasting profit and loss. You need to be able to look at all options in order to present a comprehensive, understandable analysis
  • Attention to detail: will help you to maintain accuracy when dealing with numbers. Since youโ€™ll oversee how and where a company spends the money and how and where it accumulates profit, you must divide your attention to the many financial functions of a business
  • Organization skills: will help youdeal with many different financial documents including spreadsheets, contracts, calculations, and projections
