Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Product Director to define and communicate the product vision
- Assist in creating and managing product roadmaps addressing business needs and OKRs
- Analyze data and product experience to identify user problems; collaborate with design and engineering on solutions
- Collaborate with the user research team and share insights with development, product team, and company
- Partner with development team to socialize product plans, size work, and improve through feedback
- Write detailed user stories for development teams to implement key features
- Ensure successful rollout, growth, and success of features through communication and training
- Define, evangelize, and monitor metrics demonstrating product success
- Coordinate and lead team and stakeholder meetings to gather feedback and share updates
- Motivate development team and align daily work with Kin's bigger goals
Requirements
- 2-5 years of professional experience
- 3+ years of software or technology product management experience, preferably with insurance policy administration systems
- Vendor management experience, preferably in payments
- Experience working with agile product and engineering teams in startup or rapid-growth environments
- Expertise in big data and BI tools (e.g., Adobe, Tableau, Looker)
- Proficient in SQL and data analysis
- Customer research skills
- Effective and concise written and verbal communication
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- A/B testing and experimentation experience
- Ability to convert incomplete or ambiguous inputs into actionable plans
- Strategic thinking with business mindset
