Responsibilities
- Establish the MySQL product strategy to complement corporate vision.
- Translate strategy into easy-to-consume roadmaps.
- Identify product and market opportunities through customer interactions.
- Collaborate with other Product Managers for alignment.
- Build and own relationships with Services, Community, and Engineering.
- Explore improvements for existing services and products.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of MySQL or open-source databases.
- Product management experience with enterprise IT software.
- Demonstrated understanding of customers' challenges and needs.
- Proven technical background in software development or operations.
- Experience working with inter-departmental stakeholders.
- Ability to lead without requiring authority.
- Excellent work ethic and self-management skills.
- Language skills: English fluently, additional languages appreciated.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally on business.
- Flexibility to adjust work schedule for international calls.
