We are looking for an experienced and visionary Staff Product Manager to accelerate the growth of WeTransferโs SaaS business. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for driving the planning and execution of our commerce-related initiatives. This includes experimenting with, and optimizing subscription tiering pricing and packaging, optimizing user sign-up and checkout flows, and strengthening the free-to-paid flywheel. You will be collaborating with and supporting teams across all divisions in the company, delivering transformative results to a high-growth, high-potential business.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive the product strategy and roadmap for our commerce features, including tiering, pricing and packaging, user checkout flow, and the free-to-paid user flywheel.
Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvements and new developments.
Collaborate closely with engineering and design teams to define product requirements, user stories, and wireframes.
Work closely with design to end engineering to design and deliver impactful solutions
Prioritize initiatives and allocate resources effectively, ensuring successful execution and timely delivery. Manage team sprint planning
Utilize data-driven insights and analytics to make informed decisions and continuously optimize product performance and user engagement.
Communicate and evangelize the product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders across the company.
Work collaboratively with marketing, finance, and the greater product team to develop pricing and packaging strategies that drive user growth and expansion.
Provide mentorship and guidance to other product managers, fostering commercialization knowledge.
What are we looking for:
At least 8 years of product management experience, in the SaaS industry with a focus on commerce in a high-growth business.
Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, working with engineering, marketing, design, and customer support teams.
In-depth knowledge of commerce areas such as payments, billing, pricing models, and e-commerce ecosystems.
Strong strategic mindset, capable of aligning the commerce product roadmap with business goals.
Business acumen and ability to make data-driven decisions based on market analysis and financial implications.
Ability to perform using analytics tools to measure product performance and derive actionable insights.
Innovative thinking and user-focused approach to translate customer needs into valuable product features.
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape in SaaS and commerce domains.
Experience with experimentation and a track record of achieving positive results.
Based on the successful candidates skills and experience for the role of โStaff Product Manager - Commerceโ we have assessed that in New York this role would expect to pay a base salary of $210,000 - $230,000.
