  • Analyse gathered data and research findings to synthesize key insights and inform design decisions.
  • Create design deliverables including user flows, wireframes, prototypes (ranging from simple sketches to high-fidelity interactive models), and high-quality UI mock-ups to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Rapidly iterate on design solutions and work through details based on user feedback and technical feasibility.
  • Conduct usability testing with real users to validate design solutions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other designers, to align on goals and ensure designs are feasible for implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, Psychology, or a related field is preferred, though practical experience and a strong portfolio are essential.

  • A strong portfolio showcasing experience creating user-centred design solutions, emphasizing thought processes and logical reasoning rather than just aesthetics.
  • Experience in designing complex digital products, ideally for web, desktop and mobile platforms.
  • Expertise in design software and modern prototyping tools such as Figma.
  • Proficiency in key design activities including wireframing, prototyping, user flows, and interaction design.
  • Ability to use analytics or metrics to inform design decisions and measure feature performance.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills to articulate design ideas and rationale clearly to various stakeholders.
  • High degree of empathy, demonstrating the ability to understand problems from the user’s point of view.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team (e.g., in an Agile/Scrum environment).
  • Fluent in English, any other language a plus.
  • Located and authorized to work in Germany, UK or France.
