Almost none of the Berlin or Germany-tagged product and design roles we pulled this month published a salary range on Woody. That reflects how German employers still write job ads. Germany missed the June 7, 2026 deadline to transpose the EU Pay Transparency Directive into national law, and the implementing law is not expected before 2027. Public-sector employers are already bound by the directive directly, but private companies, including most of the startups above, have no legal obligation yet to post a number, and most don't.
