Product Design Jobs in Poland 2026: Salaries & Companies

Last updated: October 2026

Here is the signal that tells you what the Polish design market really looks like. We checked every live Woody listing tagged Poland this week. There were 19. Seventeen are remote, two are hybrid, none are fully onsite, and not one publishes a salary band. Poland is a country where the best product design jobs are increasingly done from a Polish laptop for a company somewhere else.

That is good news if you live here, and a useful warning if you plan to move here. Let's break it down.

Where the product design jobs are in Poland

The big hubs are Warsaw, Krakow and Wroclaw. Warsaw anchors a technology industry valued at โ‚ฌ25.4 billion, according to Kitalent, and the wider Masovia region employs roughly 335,000 tech professionals. Google's Warsaw cloud division has more than 500 engineers, and Microsoft's development centre in the city has over 300 staff. Krakow remains the established second city for software and games.

The activity is broad, but it is engineering-heavy. In Q1 2026, IT job postings on justjoin.it rose 116% year over year to 27,375, and AI and ML openings tripled. Designers ride that wave, but they are a small slice of it, and the market now leans senior: 55% of IT offers on justjoin.it target senior profiles.

Who is hiring designers in Poland right now

This is the live list from Woody, as of 1 October 2026:

Product managers are in the mix too, for example GetResponse with a remote Product Manager role.

Salaries: what Woody shows, and what the market pays

Woody's own data first, and it is a finding in itself. None of the 19 Poland-tagged listings publishes a salary range. By contrast, many Canada-tagged design roles on Woody do show a band. Polish employers simply do not post pay as often as North American ones. Even in IT overall, only 54.4% of justjoin.it offers disclosed salaries in Q1 2026, down from 58.4%.

So for numbers, you need public benchmarks. These come from Freenance, an aggregated 2026 guide for UX designers that does not cite its primary sources, so treat them as directional:

  • Mid-level (2 to 4 years): about 10,000 to 16,000 PLN gross per month on an employment contract (median 13,000), or 12,000 to 19,000 PLN net on B2B.
  • Senior (4 to 7 years): about 14,000 to 23,000 PLN gross on an employment contract (median 18,000), or 17,000 to 28,000 PLN net on B2B (median 22,000).
  • Junior: about 6,000 to 10,500 PLN gross on an employment contract.

The bigger story is the gap above those numbers. Kitalent estimates that around 15,000 Warsaw IT professionals work mainly for non-Polish companies as remote contractors, earning two to three times local salaries. That is mostly an engineering figure, but it explains why remote roles open to Poland deserve your attention.

Remote reality and visas

On Woody, the remote picture is stark: 17 of 19 Poland-tagged listings are remote, and the two hybrid ones are game studio roles. On justjoin.it, 48% of IT listings are hybrid and 44% remote, so the wider market is more office-friendly than the designer-heavy slice we see.

Read the fine print on "remote". Many of these roles are open to Poland and neighbouring countries, not the whole world. Several are contractor roles, which means B2B invoicing.

For non-EU citizens, the EU Blue Card is the main route. Since 1 June 2025, Poland requires only six months of contract length and accepts three years of relevant experience in the previous seven years in place of a degree. Confirm the current salary threshold with Polish authorities before you apply. EU citizens need no permit.

Cost of living helps the maths: a one-bedroom in central Krakow runs about 3,080 to 3,180 PLN a month, and a comfortable single budget is roughly 7,000 PLN.

How to break into the Polish market

  • Decide your lane. Fintech, SaaS and dev tools hire remote designers. Games hire on site or hybrid.
  • Price in B2B. If you freelance, learn how B2B invoicing works in Poland. It is the default for contractors and changes your take-home.
  • Show product depth. With the market tilting senior, case studies that show decisions and metrics beat polished mockups.
  • Use the junior door. Internships like MasterBorn's AI prototyping role are rare. Apply early.
  • Filter by location. Browse product design jobs, UX and remote roles, then narrow to Poland.

Your next step

Poland is not a market of flashy design salaries on job posts. It is a market where the best deals are remote, flexible and often negotiated. New roles land on Woody every week, so set a job alert for Poland and be first in line.
