Responsibilities

• Define Shakepay9s design vision and strategy, aligning with business goals and customer needs.
• Elevate design as a strategic function by partnering with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Executive leadership.
• Cultivate a high-performing design team by fostering creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
• Champion customer-centricity at scale through user research and data-driven design decisions.
• Mature design systems and operations for efficient scaling across products.
• Ensure design quality by setting high standards for UI, UX, and product storytelling.

Requirements

• 10+ years in product design with 3+ years leading teams in high-growth consumer tech or fintech.
• Experience partnering with executives and senior leaders to shape product direction.
• Expertise in design systems, frameworks, and DesignOps practices to maintain quality and speed.
• Strong customer focus balancing insights with product strategy.
• Ability to mentor, inspire, and hold design teams accountable.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations.
• Entrepreneurial mindset comfortable with ambiguity and complexity.
• Clear communication skills to convey complex ideas to diverse stakeholders.
• Interest or experience in Bitcoin, cryptocurrency, or FinTech products is preferred.
