Responsibilities
- Own the vision for end-to-end business objectives that span multiple engineering teams.
- Synthesize your ideas, our business goals, customer feedback, product analytics and insights gleaned from the marketing/sales teams into feature specifications.
- Work closely with the engineering and marketing teams to ensure we ship world class software that matters to our existing and future customers.
- Manage analytics instrumentation across our products and use it to make data driven product decisions.
Requirements
- 4+ years product management experience with SaaS companies.
- Clear written and verbal communicator who provides straightforward, self-contained updates with necessary context in our distributed, asynchronous environment.
- Technical background strong enough to understand how our tools are used by developers.
- Strong opinions, weakly held—someone who pushes back on ideas to drive better outcomes, handles critique without defensiveness, and demonstrates a growth mindset.
- Evidence-driven mindset—uses customer feedback and our analytics instrumentation to make informed product decisions.
- Accountability—experience leading the end-to-end process for a feature from conception to release.
Nice to Have
- Were previously a front-end software engineer.
- Have experience working in the developer tooling space.
- Have a keen interest in UI, design and the front-end ecosystem.
- Have worked effectively in a distributed, remote-first team environment.
